Farewell meeting of Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masamichi Saigo has called on National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
Ambassador Saigo paid a farewell visit to the office of Chairman Timilsina at Singha Durbar on Thursday before returning home after completing his three-year tenure.
On the occasion, Chairman Timilsina said that Nepal and Japan have been moving forward on the basis of friendship, understanding and bilateral cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Chairman Timilsina also mentioned that the relations between two countries would be further deepened as Japan is Nepal's partner country.
On the occasion, Japanese Ambassador Saigo said that diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan were good at the grassroots level.
Informing that three Nepali ministers have visited Nepal during their tenure, two countries' parliaments are exchanging experiences, said National Assembly Speaker Timilsina.
Chairman Timilsina also congratulated and thanked Ambassador Saigo for successfully completing his tenure.
