At present, weather in Kathmandu Valley and surrounding areas is clear. According to meteorologists, weather is likely to be partly cloudy in hilly areas including valley in the afternoon due to partial effect of westerly winds.
Currently, weather is generally clear in other parts of the country with partial cloud cover in hilly areas of Province 1, Gandaki, Karnali and Far-Western, according to Meteorological Department.
Weather will be generally clear in the rest of hilly parts of the country with partial to moderate clouds this afternoon.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in afternoon at one or two places in hilly terrain of Province 1, Gandaki, Karnali and Far Western Province.
Similarly, tonight there is a possibility of partial to general cloud cover in hilly areas and weather will be generally clear in the rest of the areas.
There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two acres of hilly terrain of Province 1 and Gandaki.
