Kyapgön Phakchok Rinpoche began Series of tsok bum from July 29. Event took place from Zoom and Youtube from 8:00 in morning.
Tsok is a profound Vajrayana practice of offering that swiftly gathers the accumulations of merit and wisdom and simultaneously purifies our obscurations.Sessions want more than 3 hours.
Bum means that the offering is accumulated 100,000 times;. This was accomplished by sangha in Nepal and around the world. Series began from July 29, Sixth Lunar Month of tibeatn calendar.
First tsok boom was Lamé Tukdrup Barché Künsel aka The Guru’s Heart Practice, Dispeller of All Obstacles. Following this on August 28, Tukdrup Sampa Lhündrup:The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Wishes Guru Heart Practice was practiced.
On September 26 Guru Tsokyé Nyingtik or The Lake-Born Guru’s Heart Essence was based on tsok bum. Ninth Lunar Month was the commemoration of Guru Dorjé Draktsel, Guru Powerful Vajra Wrath.
For November 24, Tenth Lunar Month The Heart Practice of the Embodiment of All Realization aka Tukdrup Gongpa Kündü was used.
After series of tsok bum with Guru Rinpoche as central figure, December 24 yidam practise of Vajrakīlaya was practiced. Dakini tsok bum of Pema Khandro (Kurukulle) just completed on January 23.
Additional February 22 – First Lunar Month Tsa Sum (Three Roots) and February 27 Additional Global Sangha Accumulation of Merit Event (Riwo Sangcho).The texts for these practices were shared by Lhasey Lotsawa, the translation group.
Global sangha from 50 countries gathered virtually. For tsok, all together 150,000 recitations were accumulated on each Guru Rinpoche day.
Final ganachakra feast offering was Pema Khandro i.e. Kurukulle. The ganachakra feast was made with aspirations for all mundane and supermundane monlams to manifest.
For participants of Tsok Bum supportive material was also made available. For Tukdrup Barché Künsel practice, a short introduction to Guru Rinpoche, Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa, Tukdrup Barché Künsel, the Feast Offering, and importance of the sacred site of Asura Cave was given as supportive asset.
Furthermore, the beginning of each tsok was taught by Phakchok Rinpoche on how to direct your practice. Every month, practitioners were provided with the necessary texts as well as explanations for the visualization of each deity.
Option for attending the live streaming and a recorded version were both available for support of practice. Zoom registration is required for everyone as participants had to pledge the number of malas of recitation.
Phakchok Rinpoche commenced each gathering offering from the main shrine room at Asura cave along with the three-year retreatants. The feast offerings were arranged in front of Guru Rinpoche’s practice cave.
Simultaneously monks, nuns, and lay practitioners in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan participated in the accumulation of the 100,000 tsok offerings.
Different practice from the Chokling Tersar was accumulated on the sacred site of the Asura cave. Guru Rinpoche had stayed in retreat at the lower cave and at the upper cave of Asura.
At the Asura cave, Guru Rinpoche combined the practice of Yangdak Heruka, with the practice of Vajrakilaya. Subsequently, Guru Rinpoche attained the siddhi of Mahāmudrā.
So that everyone who wishes to practice together in accumulating merit, the gathering offerings, program was live-streamed.
