The Board of Directors of the Covid 19 Crisis Management Center has recently recommended that citizens from countries with high corona infections be placed on mandatory quarantine.
A meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday decided to recommend to the Council of Ministers to make arrangements for quarantine of citizens entering Nepal from those countries saying that the rate of infection is increasing in some countries.
Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Mahendra Guragain, informed that the meeting decided to direct the Ministry of Tourism to make the system of filling online forms effective for citizens coming to Nepal from third countries.
He said that after the Corona epidemic, it was decided to open some areas as it was banned in various areas.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to instruct the District Crisis Management Center to strictly follow the health safety standards and take action as the safety awareness among the citizens is low due to the decrease in corona infection.
