Senior leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party Rajendra Mahato has said that the current problem will not be solved by re-establishing the parliament. He further added that a permanent solution to the problem should be found, arguing that there would be regression no matter what the restoration of parliament or elections.
In an interview with Reporters Club Nepal in Kathmandu on Thursday, Mahato said that both the restoration of the parliament and the mid-term elections were on the agenda to protect the interests of the elites.
According to Mahato, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has regressed by dissolving the House of Representatives. Mentioning that all the important agendas of the country have been put on fast track, he said that all the people could not think of their own.
Mahato also said that the election would not solve the problem but establishing a pluralistic state could be a good solution for the stable government.
