A three-member Nepali athletics team including two athletes has reached Dhaka, Bangladesh on Tuesday to participate in the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Dhaka Marathon to be held in Bangladesh on January 10.
Kiran Singh Bogati, who won gold in the marathon at the 13th South Asian Games last year, and Pushpa Bhandari, who won silver in the women's marathon, are competing in the Dhaka Marathon.
"Even in Corona pandemic, these two players have been selected on the basis of the 13th SAAG’s performance.
This team has been selected with the consent of the Nepal Athletic Association and the head coach as the condition of both the players is also better than the others. Chaudhary said-"We have been preparing in Kathmandu for almost two months."
Instructor is confident to get successful result even if the preparation time was very short.
