Senior Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Chandra Prasad Dhakal has said that the federation will play a positive role in increasing Nepal's exports.
Speaking at a program organized by the Nepal Export Council in Kathmandu on Wednesday on the occasion of the Fifth Export Day-2077 BS, Dhakal said that Nepal would play a necessary role in increasing exports in case of unsatisfactory exports.
He said that many opportunities have been lost due to Corona and opportunities have been gained in some areas. He opined that the government should create a conducive environment for the export of Nepal's handicrafts as much as possible.
The Fifth Export Day is celebrated under the slogan "Improving Export Trade, the Basis of the National Economy". As of the end of the current fiscal year, Nepal's imports are Rs 42.29 billion and exports are Rs 40.20 billion, according to the council.
