Recently Drigung Kagyud Rinchen Palri monastery institute, Nepal held weeklong Puja. special Puja and prayers generally for the teachings of Buddha.
Particularly to pacify the hindrances and obstacles of H.E Kyabje Garchen Rinpoche. Puja was dedicated for his long life and widespread of his Dharmic activities.
Puja started from 4th of January and continued till 11th January. In order to flourish H.E Garchen Rinpoche's generous, Love and Kindness and Prayers, this puja was conducted.
Monks performed the Puja of Ushnishavijaya (Tib. Namgyalma) and Dharma protector Achi Choedon for the last 7 days. The long-life deity Ushnishavijaya is 'Victorious Crown Ornament'.
She is one of three special long-life deities along with the Buddha Amitayus and White Tara. Ushnishavijaya is commonly associated with long life and healing.
Drigung Achi Choedon is a Female Protector of the Drikung Kagyu. Achi Choedon is a 10th level female Bodhisattva.
Achi was born near the Drigung valley and later travels towards East Tibet to find her spiritual consort. Achi Choedon is riding a horse.
