The Annual Grand Prosperity Ritual(Yangdup Norbu Choegyal) is performed at Achi Lhakhang in Drikung Kagyu Institute, Jangchubling Monastery, Dehradun-India.
Ritual is being performed in the presence of Vajra Master Dhupon Tundup Sonam and gathering of monastic monks A week-long offering began on January 6th.
The grand Yangdrub ritual has an elaborate prosperity and abundance summoning ceremony. This ritual is traditionally performed once a year at Drikung monastery.
The ritual involves purification, accomplishment and the energies of the wealth deities to generate material resources, abundance, and prosperity.
The merits accumulated from the Yangdup Norbu Choegyal ritual are regarded as tremendous. Further ritual not only generates material wealth but also increases health, longevity, and spiritual development in the environment.
In 1990 His Holiness Drikung Chetsang Rinpoche established a monastery and an education center.
The monastery was named after the first Drikung Kagyu monastery in Drikung Thil, Tibet. This year puja was concluded on Tuesday, 12th January.
