Speaking to reporters after the Central Working Committee meeting in Sanepa on Thursday, senior leader Poudel challenged Oli to contest the election with him, alleging that he had opposed the dissolution of the House of Representatives for fear of losing the election.
He said that he had contested the election five times in that constituency. He argued that the Congress should launch a movement to save the constitution as Oli had killed democracy by taking unconstitutional steps.
He also argued that Oli had tried to assassinate the constitution by dissolving the parliament.
