A group of Pathao bike riders has submitted a 11-point memorandum to the company.
75 riders on Monday submitted the demand letter to ride sharing company Pathao seeking reduction in the commission rate and fines they needed to pay, flouting the company’s rules and regulations for insuring the motorbike and riders.
Currently, the riders pay 20 per cent of the fare to the company as a commission. Similarly, the company suspends the riders upon receiving a complaint from the service recipients and fines them more than Rs 1,100 to lift the suspension.
The riders in demand letter have stated that the commission rate should come down to eight per cent and company should listen to their grievances and allow them to reject ride users as per the situation.
