The 18th Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival will take place from 10-14 December 2020 virtually. Organized by Himal Association, kimf 2020 will screen some of the most recent and exciting films about mountain people, sports, environment, cultures and societies from around the globe.
The films to showcased under the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) can be viewed through its official website www.kimff.org this year as KIMFF is going virtual this year because of pandemic.
Many movies including documentaries under Nepal Panorama will be screened. As always, this year, too, the movies that deal with mountainous lifestyle, mountaineering, and adventures will be showcased.
The film festival will be inaugurated on Thursday with the new film ‘Looking for a Lady with Fangs and a Moustache directed by Bhutanese Film Director Norbu Rinpoche.
It was set in Nepal. Film Director Rinpoche is also scheduled to deliver a virtual speech during inauguration ceremony of the festival.
