Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel has said that the government's next priority is to supply corona vaccine.
Inaugurating fifth general assembly of Nepal Economic Journalists Association in Kathmandu on Saturday, Minister Poudel said that government's priority is to supply relatively cheap and quality vaccine of corona.
He said that as soon as the world market becomes stable, Nepal will also supply corona vaccine and discussions are underway with other countries.
Finance Minister Poudel said the government would test and treat infected people with symptoms of corona. He said that the protection of people's lives and livelihood was the first priority of the government.
Minister Poudel argued that the government had worked effectively for the control and prevention of corona. He informed that government had introduced a relief package to reduce the impact of Corona on the economy.
Poudel also expressed his commitment to solve the problem through discussion if the government's announcement for the private, cooperative and manufacturing sectors is not enough.
Representatives of the private sector said that the government and the private sector should work together to make up for the impact of Corona on Nepal's economy.
