Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that economy will move forward by focusing on investment, production and employment.
Minister Poudel said this at a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday on the occasion of 23rd anniversary of Nepal Economic Journalists Association (NEJA).
Minister Poudel said that government as well as private sector should be equally active in mitigating the impact of Corona on Nepal's economy. Minister Poudel said that he was eager for cooperation with private sector.
Minister Poudel stressed on the need to make maximum use of available resources even though government has brought programs for economic recovery by minimizing the impact on economy.
Similarly, President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Shekhar Golchha said that government and private sector should work together to minimize the impact of Corona on the economic sector.
At an event, awards were given to journalists who write in economic terms.
