Discussion has started on the proposal submitted by Chairman KP Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the meeting of Secretariat of ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN).
At a meeting held at PM's residence in Baluwatar on Monday, discussions started on the proposal put forward by Oli and Prachanda separately.
During the meeting, Oli and Prachanda as well as other leaders expressed their views on the proposal, said CPN (Maoist) spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha.
Spokesperson Shrestha said that formal discussions have started on the proposal submitted by both chairpersons and meeting felt that discussions and dialogue would be taken forward informally.
Spokesperson Shrestha said that formal and informal discussions and interactions would be held between the leaders and discussions would be held at the meeting.
A meeting of secretariat has also been called on Wednesday. Spokesperson Shrestha mentioned that meeting of standing committee will be held on time.
CPN (Maoist) has convened a meeting of standing committee on December 3 and a meeting of central committee on December 8. Dispute between two parties has escalated after two chairpersons held separate meetings.
