United Federation of Ex-Servicemen and Police Welfare, Nepal has stressed on the need for government to meet the demands put forward by them.
Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Saturday, FNCCI officials warned of agitation if their demands were not met.
Federation has put pressure on government to fulfill its demands while giving information about various activities it has done in recent times.
Discussions, correspondence and meetings are being held with Government of India at various levels regarding problems of Indian pensioner.
Speaking on the occasion, FNCCI President Dhan Bahadur Thapa complained that social security allowances being provided by Government of Nepal have been stopped especially targeting landlords.
FNCCI President Thapa said that Government of Nepal would be requested to approve CSD facility sought by Government of India as it had not been approved by Government of Nepal.
Thapa warned to agitate hard if their demands are not met. According to federation, remittances from India alone amount to more than Rs 200 million per month and currently Rs 300 million from remittances. Similarly, federation says that 70 to 80 million come from the UK.
