Nepal Academy of Science and Technology has handed over a Swab Collecting Mobile Vehicle to Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
As per the agreement reached between foundation and metropolis on November 10, Swab Collecting mobile vehicle has been handed over for control and treatment of Corona epidemic.
Vehicle handed over by foundation in Kathmandu on Sunday was constructed at a cost of Rs 500,000.
At the handover ceremony, Bidhya Sundar Shakya, chief of metropolis, said that corona will be tested in the wards as soon as swab collection mobile vehicle is received.
Mayor Shakya said that it would be easy to collect swabs for PCR testing of disabled and senior citizens undergoing contact tracing.
Similarly, an agreement has been reached between foundation and urban health and food regulation department of metropolis to conduct food research.
