Buying rate of 1 US dollar was trading at 117.96 paise and selling rate was 118.56 paise on Thursday. Buying rate of the US dollar on Wednesday was 118 paise to 12 paise and selling rate was 118 paise to 72 paise.
According to foreign exchange rate made public by Nepal Rastra Bank on Thursday, buying rate of one European Euro has been fixed at Rs 140.40 and selling rate at Rs 141.12. Euro traded at 140.33 paise and selling rate at 141.04 paise on Wednesday.
Buying rate of UK pound sterling was set at Rs 157.38 and selling rate at Rs 158.18 on Thursday. Similarly, buying rate of UK pound sterling 1 was 157.83 paise and selling rate was 158.63 paise on Wednesday.
Buying rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1, the most expensive currency in Nepali currency market, has been fixed at Rs 386.10 and selling rate at Rs 388.06, while buying rate of Bahraini Dinar 1 is Rs 312.87 and selling rate is Rs 314.46.
