Nepali Congress has decided to lower party's flag in half for three days by passing a mourning resolution on the demise of MP Surya Bahadur KC.
An emergency meeting of party's central working committee held at party's Sanepa office on Tuesday decided to hoist party's flag at party's central office and all district offices for three days on November 3, 4 and 5 following the death of MP KC, said General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka.
Meeting has decided to close all the central and district offices on November 4. Similarly, meeting decided to keep mourning books in the central office and all district offices till the 13th day of Ascension, said Khadka.
Silence was observed at meeting to pay homage to late KC. KC had passed away at his residence at Mustang Chowk, Ward No. 7 of Pokhara Metropolitan City on November 3 at 10 pm.
Late KC was born on Jestha 10, 2014. In the 2074 election, he became a member of House of Representatives on behalf of party under the proportional system.
