No sign of CPN (Maoist) split: PM Oli

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said in the media that there is no sign of a split in CPN (Maoist). Arriving at Godavari in Lalitpur to inspect International Conference Hall, Prime Minister Oli said there was no sign of a split in party.

Prime Minister Oli said that although discussion was about party, discussion was focused on Karnali state government.

Saying that he had asked another CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda about ongoing discussions on party, Prime Minister Oli said that discussions were focused on the need to move party forward properly.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Oli arrived at Godavari in Lalitpur to inspect International Conference Hall. Assembly hall with a capacity of about 3,000 seats is currently under construction.

Prime Minister Oli, who has not left Baluwatar for a long time, left Baluwatar on same day that party in fighting erupted and General Secretary Bishnu Poudel conveyed message that party unity was in a critical crisis.
