Nepali Congress Joint General Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat has clarified that there was no discussion on power sharing during the meeting between party president Sher Bahadur Deuba and Prime Minister Oli.
Speaking at a press conference organized by Kapilvastu branch of Nepal Press Union in Toulihawa, Mahat clarified that Nepali Congress was not in a power-sharing campaign and there was no need for partnership.
Stating that CPN (Maoist) has to agree on internal issues on its own, Mahat said that system of seeking help of allies would not work well.
Mahat, who is also coordinator of party's Covid 19 monitoring committee, said government had spent Rs 20 billion in Corona but people had not received relief.
Mahat accused government of reducing the scope of testing and failing to provide treatment to citizens.
