A six-day lockdown has been announced in the Australian state of South Australia with effect from midnight on Wednesday following a new outbreak of corona virus.
A total of 36 new infections have been reported in Adelaide, Australia, on Sunday. Various Australian states have put forward various plans to ban economy, borders and social activities to control the infection. Victoria has now reduced the infection to zero.
South Australian Premier Stephen Marcel has called on citizens to follow through on lockdown and save the community as a whole. Most Australian states closed their borders to South Australians earlier this week.
