"Efforts are being made to weaken the transformation of country," Speaker Sapkota

Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that efforts are still being made to weaken change in country.

Speaking at a program organized by Jana Andolan Shaheed Smriti Shanti Pratisthan in Kathmandu on Monday on the occasion of Ganeshman Singh's birth anniversary, Speaker Sapkota said that it was an attempt to weaken changes including secularism.

Speaker Sapkota noted that the change in country was possible because all movements had been peacefully institutionalized.

Stating that economic development work as desired by people has not been done yet, Sapkota said that country should move ahead with development by strengthening democracy.

Speaker Sapkota further added that failure to adapt to values ​​of democracy could weaken transformation. Speaker Sapkota said that post was not a big deal and added that honesty and loyalty to country was the main thing.

Similarly, Deputy Leader of CPN-MP and Chairman of Constituent Assembly, Subash Chandra Nemwang, said that constitution should be made strong and shortcomings should be rectified.

Stating that all political parties are standing in one place while including Nepali land in the map, Nemwang mentioned that all parties should be united to move country forward on the path of development.

Budvinarayan Shrestha, a national awakening engineer and border expert, was awarded Peace Gold Medal at the program. After being honored, Shrestha said that government should resolve border dispute by discussing with all parties and collecting suggestions.
