Ahmed Patel, a senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP from Gujarat, has passed away. Patel died Wednesday at the age of 71. Patel was infected with corona on October 1.
Patel was admitted to Mendata Hospital on October 15 after his health condition worsened due to corona infection. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over his death.
