Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that they will remain in the role of opposition as per the mandate given by people to stay in opposition for five years.
At a program organized in Lalitpur on Monday, Singh said that Nepali Congress had nothing to do with the dispute within CPN (Maoist) and urged party not to get involved in the rumors of formation of a new government.
Leader Singh clarified that there was no point in power politics with Prime Minister Oli's meeting with Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur.
Leader Singh said that government was unaware of problems of people even during epidemic as ruling party CPN (Maoist) was involved in internal quarrels and chair games for months.
Leader Singh alleged that current CPN (Maoist) government was working against the spirit and spirit of federalism and that corruption was rampant during epidemic.
On another occasion, Singh objected that government had changed the names of old and historic parks and started naming leaders of his party.
Leader Singh said that it would not be good to encroach on parks carrying old history and urged to respect the history.
