Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to visit Nepal. Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to arrive in Nepal for a few hours at the end of November, according to a Foreign Ministry source. Here, Wang Yi will hold meetings with Prime Minister and President.
The issue of arrival of Chinese Foreign Minister has drawn the attention of many at a time when disputes are raging within ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN-M).
Chinese ambassador and leaders have been criticized for increasing their activism when the dispute in CPN (Maoist) escalated. Earlier, Wang Yi had visited Nepal in 2014 and 2019 as well.
Foreign Secretary of India's southern neighbor Harsh Vardhan Shringala is also expected to visit Nepal in the last week of November.
