Stakeholders have said that number of corona infections in Nepal has skyrocketed due to neglect of corona risk management.
Speaking at a program organized by Sap Nepal and Pragya Foundation on the condition of corona infection in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he said that the number of infected people was increasing due to failure to take effective steps to control corona in time.
They have also argued that the effects of corona can be seen in Nepal for a long time. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Divesh Karmacharya said that a complete study on the state of corona infection in Nepal could not be done in the first stage of corona.
Dr. Karmacharya said that there was no plan of the state in the post-lockdown management as it was not effective.
Similarly, Dr. Ram Kewal Shah said that state has not been able to provide financial package to the workers returning from abroad. Dr. Shah said state should be serious about controlling corona.
The program was organized with the objective of spreading public awareness about corona epidemic from the community to the national level, said Gita Bhattarai, chairperson of Sap Nepal.
