Khasi Bazar monitoring on the status of sale and distribution of goats and Changra (Mountain Goat)

Monitoring team of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has monitored the sale and distribution of goats and changra (mountain goat).

On Saturday morning, the monitoring team reached various places including Khasi Bazaar in Kathmandu and monitored the sale and distribution of healthy or unhealthy goats and changra (mountain goat).

Metropolis has stated that it has been monitoring the sale and distribution of unhealthy goats and changra (mountain goat) during the decade.

Dr. Awadhesh Jha, Chief of Veterinary Services Division, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, informed that the distribution of healthy goats and changra (mountain goat) has been monitored.

Chief of Veterinary Services Dr. Jha said that goats and changra (mountain goat) being sold should undergo mandatory health check-up. Chief of Veterinary Services Dr. Jha informed that those who look healthy should be sold with green stickers and those who look unhealthy should not be sold with red color.

Metropolis has stated that strict action will be taken against those who cheat the general consumers and sell unhealthy goats and mutton or meat.
