Government offices that were closed due to Dashain holiday have been reopened since Wednesday.
Government and private offices will be open from Wednesday after the end of the five-day government holiday. Government offices were closed for five days from Phulpati to Ekadashi in Bada dashain.
Even though government offices are open after Dashain holiday, attendance of employees seems to be low. As it is the first day after Dashain holiday, activity of employees has decreased.
It is said that it will take another day or two for the distant employees and service recipients to return to normalcy.
Some government offices have been closed by posting notices even after Dashain holiday due to corona infection in employees. Similarly, number of service recipients seeking services even after reopening of government offices that were closed on Dashain is also seen to be low.
People's life in the valley, which was deserted in Dashain, is becoming normal. All kinds of vehicles are plying in the valley. General public seems to be busy.
