Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel has said that Prime Minister's Office and Office of Council of Ministers are important responsibilities.
Taking charge of office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel said that his responsibilities were important and responsible.
Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel also said that he was determined to make the work of important bodies such as Department of Property Laundering, National Investigation Commission, National Vigilance Center and National Planning Commission effective under the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Though government has formed Hello government to listen to the grievances of the people and address the problems, its work has not been effective, said Deputy Prime Minister Pokharel.
Stating that he would focus on the shortcomings in the policy and law, Minister Pokharel said that the support and cooperation of the staff was needed to make the work of the government effective.
Pokharel, who has been in charge of the defense ministry, has been given the responsibility of the deputy prime minister and the office of the prime minister and the cabinet in the cabinet formed by the government on Wednesday.
