National Testing Guidelines for Covid 19 for corona testing have been amended for the fourth time.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, informed that National Testing Guideline for Corona Testing has been amended for the fourth time.
Spokesperson Gautam said that after the decision of the incident command system, Health Emergency Center had written to the Department of Health Services informing about the change in the deadline for corona testing.
Spokesperson Gautam said the revised guideline should list only FDA, AUA-approved kits and kits approved by the Department of Health Services for testing Covid 19 antigen.
Similarly, only laboratories licensed by National Public Health Laboratory have been allowed to test corona by antigen method, said Dr Gautam. Spokesperson Gautam mentioned that the fee for corona test using antigen method has been fixed at Rs One thousand.
Stating that local level has not complied with the standards, Dr. Gautam said that a letter has been written to Ministry of General Administration instructing all 753 local levels to fully comply with the public health standards
