With the festival approaching, people are flocking to the markets and shops, ignoring corona infection.
With the approach of festivals like Dashain and Tihar, crowds of people have started increasing in food and clothing shops including Asan, Jamal and Bisal Bazaar in Kathmandu.
Despite Ministry of Health and Population's request to follow the standards of public health as corona infection is on the rise in Kathmandu Valley, people are shopping in the market without maintaining physical and social distance.
After Corona infection, government has stated that social distance should be maintained while running shops and businesses, use of masks should be made mandatory and hand washing with soap and water or use of sanitizer should be done.
The rate of corona infection in Kathmandu Valley seems to be increasing due to the unorganized crowd in the market in the name of celebrating festivals.
