Government has reduced the cost of corona infection testing across Nepal.
Spokesperson of Ministry of Health Dr. Jageshwor Gautam informed that PCR test will be conducted in all government and private labs at a cost of Rs. 2,000 from now on.
Spokesperson Gautam said that new price has been fixed on the basis of reduction in the price of reagents and other goods.
Earlier, government had initially fixed the fee for PCR examination at Rs 5,500 but then reduced it to Rs 4,000.
Similarly, the Remedesivir medicine from Bangladesh will be distributed according to the guidelines of Nepal Health Research Council in hospitals other than those listed for use of Remedesivir depending on the patient's pressure and council should submit full details to the ministry, said spokesperson Gautam.
Spokesperson Gautam said that he has recently received 5,000 vials of remediation.
Similarly, spokesperson Gautam said that it has been decided to cancel the registration if the ambulances are used for any purpose other than carrying patients.
