Based on the report of the task force, CPN (Maoist) chairpersons KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda have prepared an action plan to be submitted to the standing committee on Friday.
Oli and Dahal have prepared a proposal to submit to the standing committee based on the suggestions given by the task force formed under the convenership of General Secretary Bishnu Poudel for resolving the disputes within the party.
The proposal states that as mentioned earlier in the report of the task force, Oli will remain the prime minister during this tenure of the parliament and he will be more focused on the work of the government.
Similarly, it has been proposed for the other chairman to focus on the work of the party..
In the 15-page proposal, it is mentioned that the work of party unity will be completed within the month of September.
To complete the organizational integration of Central Commissions, Central Advisory Council, Senior Communist Forum, Politburo, Central Departments, State and Local Level Committees, and other organisations as well as integration of assets and records.
Similarly, it is mentioned that the general convention of the party's unity will be held on Chaitra 25-30 as per the earlier scheduled time.
In the same proposal, it is mentioned that the MCC will be passed by the parliament with necessary amendments after further discussion of the party as suggested by the task force.
The action plan states that the Council of Ministers should be restructured and political appointments should be made in a way that maintains balance in terms of merit, capacity, integrity, continuity, contribution and national vision.
A meeting of the secretariat earlier had given the responsibility to the two chairpersons to bring a concrete proposal for implementation based on the suggestions given by the task force.
