Regular domestic flights will start from September 21. At present, only chartered flights are being operated, according to the airport.
Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has stated that the flight will be allowed only from September 21, saying that the necessary preparations have not been made even though cabinet meeting on Monday decided to open domestic flights from September 17.
Airline company has also stated that the booking has been opened for the flight from the September 21.
Regular flights, which will start about six months after the closure due to corona, will have only half the capacity of the aircraft. Considering the increased risk of corona infection, planes will serve only half of the capacity.
Government has instructed the plane to carry only half of its capacity on regular flights, which will begin about six months after lock down due to corona. International flights are operating regularly.
