In collaboration with actor Akshay Kumar, an Indian company has announced the launch of a mobile game like Pub-G. The aim is to fill the void in the market related to 'online games'.
The game is being introduced in India for those who like to play online games after the Indian government banned Chinese-made online games.
The mobile game has been developed by a company called N Core Games based in Bangalore, which is considered to be a direct competitor with Pub-G.
The company has dubbed the game 'Fauji' (FAU: G) which is expected to hit the market by the end of October.
"Fearless and United Guards is the full name of the game," Vishal Gondal, co-founder of the company, told Reuters. The game has been under construction for several months. "We made the first level of the game based on the Galvan Valley," he said.
The first encounter between Chinese and Indian troops took place in the Galvan Valley in June. At least 20 Indian soldiers were killed.
Tensions between the two countries have been high since then.
