The sixth day of the ban

Checkpoints have been tightened in the Kathmandu Valley on the sixth day of the ban issued by the district administration offices to reduce corona virus infection.

Police have tightened the check after the number of violators increased. Meanwhile, the traffic police have seized some motorcycles and four-wheelers. Except for urgent work, those who go out have been kept in the holding center for some time and released.

Shops other than medicine and food are closed in the Kathmandu Valley due to the one-week ban. Food, vegetables, fruits, drinking water, electricity and other essential vehicles are in operation.

The administration has urged everyone not to go out for unnecessary work. Despite the increasing number of infected people in the Kathmandu Valley, the District Administration Offices of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur have issued restraining orders till Wednesday.
