The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) on Monday evening.
It was published after the board meeting held on Monday verified the SEE results.
This time, the concerned schools have given marks to the students on the basis of the criteria made by the board. The same assessment has been certified by the National Examination Board and the results have been published.
According to the board, the results of 472,078 students have been published. Educationist P.D. Vidyanath Koirala said that this result was published to ease admission to class 11 and it should not be taken as a big thing.
A three-member evaluation committee chaired by the headmaster of the school concerned had prepared the results of class 10 students on the basis of internal evaluation. The same result sent by the school has been certified by the National Examination Board.
The criteria for evaluation was set by the National Examination Board. The results were prepared by forming an evaluation committee consisting of the school principal, the concerned class teacher and the senior teacher on the basis of appointment.
The procedure was made in such a way that the evaluation committee would be held accountable if the details of the students were found to be false or incorrect.
As per the Secondary Education Curriculum, 2071 BS, there is a provision in the procedure to provide the marks based on the last examination taken by the schools..
Provision has been made for the concerned schools to use the practical marks submitted earlier and to provide the same marks without any difference in the details sent to the Education Development and Coordination Unit.
After fulfilling these criteria, the schools had written the student's score in Excel format and submitted it to the evaluation committee.
However, re-examination, re-correction of answer scripts, and supplementary grade promotion examination will not be conducted this year.
