Exams which was postponed due to corona virus last April, Tribhuvan University has started internal preparations to operate within September.
The university is preparing to take the exam from any option with the objective of making it easier for the students in the last semester of different levels as the academic session will be completely ruined and the door of higher education of the students will be closed.
The meeting of the university officials and deans has decided to find a way out especially for the students who have appeared for some subjects in the post-graduate semester and some for the remaining students.
In the fourth semester of the postgraduate level of the Faculty of Management, the students had appeared for two subjects and two subjects remained.
Preparations have been made to pave the way for the suspension of students' examinations in this case as the academic session will be disrupted and higher studies will also be hampered.
An alternative method being decided
In the current situation, the university officials have come to the conclusion that it is not possible to conduct a written test for students. Dean Sharma of the Faculty of Management informed that if there is no written possibility, the exit will be done by examining the student in person or through virtual method.
The university and the dean's office are free to make decisions. University officials have received suggestions to take the exam by virtual method in the remaining subjects.
The university is going to start searching for the students who have lost contact after the examination was postponed. After finding the students, it will be known how many students there are, so that it will be easy to decide how to take the exam.
Earlier, the postponed examination in Chaitra was taken from the old practice and the examination was conducted simultaneously across the country.
Upper semester even if the exam is not given
Meanwhile, examination conducted in the semester system could not be conducted in the campus of Tribhuvan University, but the students are being taught in the upper semester.
In the past, students used to go to the next semester only after completing the examination of one level semester, but this time, the university has paved the way for them to study in the next semester even if they have not taken the exam.
It is said that the student's academic session will be put to good use from this.
