Nepali short film 'Anumala' selected at two US Film Festivals

Nepali short film 'Anumala' selected at two US Film Festivals, Asian Film Festival and Tiburon Film Festival released

Short films are being released on YouTube after Nepal goes lockdown for second phase. People are forced to stay at home due to the risk of corona infection.

Following  this, Nepali short film 'Anumala' has also been made public at the same time. Produced by Mallaaj Productions and directed by Bibhu Poudel and Bishal Dotel, the film Anumala has been made public on YouTube through Mallaaj Productions.

There is a story about two female characters named Anuradha and Nirmala and where their different lives collide. The film is set against the women trafficking in rural village.

The 12-minute short film stars Shristi Khadgi, Rohani Lama, Bhima Mainali, Ayan Khadka, Manish Dhungana and others. Filmed by Abhishek Rai, the film has a story by Bishal Dotel and editing by Romi.

Anumala was also selected in two US Film Festivals, Asian Film Festival and Tiburon Film Festival.
