Due to the increase in the number of Nepalis losing their jobs, the number of returnees is increasing by more than 10,000

Second Secretary of the Embassy Bhuvan Prasad Bhatta said. He said that 5,517 Nepalis have returned home through various rescue flights so far after the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.

According to the embassy, Himalayan Airlines is scheduled to fly on August 31. It has been stated that those who are in priority will be rescued through that flight.

The Nepali Embassy in Qatar has requested those who have previously taken tickets and are on the embassy's list to contact the concerned airlines for re-verification.

The embassy said the PCR test for the coronavirus (Covid 19) could be done at various private hospitals licensed by the Qatari government.

The government has decided that those who bring negative PCR reports will not have to stay in Hotel Quarantine in Kathmandu.

However, the embassy said that they would have to stay at Hotel Quarantine in Kathmandu at their own expense as the PCR report was not taken.

Passengers who have to stay in the hotel quarantine have to make a written commitment to pay the hotel expenses themselves at least 7 days while purchasing the ticket.

The number of Nepalis losing their jobs in Qatar due to corona infection, which has spread like a global epidemic, is also increasing day by day. The government has been operating regular flights from countries where PCR testing is easy from Bhadra 16.
