A lockdown has been declared in Mirchaiya Municipality of Siraha to prevent further risk of coronavirus infection.
The lockdown has been declared from today till Shrawan 12 after the infection was confirmed in three people of Ward No. 6 of the municipality.
Mayor Shravan Yadav informed that the emergency meeting held in the municipality decided to place a lockdown for 10 days. The municipality has urged the city dwellers to follow lockdown regulations by staying at home.
Meanwhile, a couple from Rajbiraj Municipality-8 has managed to overcome the infection within 16 days of the corona infection being confirmed. Pramod Yadav, 37, and his wife Binda, 32, have won the infection. The couple was in regular contact with health workers.
