Janaki Mandir Mahanta leaves for Bhumi Pujan for Ram Temple in Ayodhya

Mahant Ramat Peshwar Das Vaishnav of Janaki Temple has left for Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India to participate in the Bhumi Pujan program for the construction of Ram Temple.

He left for Ayodhya after the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi pilgrimage area sent an invitation to Mahanta Das of Janaki Temple to participate in the Bhumi Pujan program.

Mahanta Das of Janaki temple said that he was going there with 5 silver bricks of one kg eah as a gift. Sitaram Janaki temple Janakpurdham Mithila Nepal is inscribed on the silver brick.

He said, "After waiting for years, I am fortunate to be able to represent all the people of Mithila in the Bhumi Pujan program of the Ram temple which is being constructed in Ayodhya." Mahanta Das has left for Ayodhya through Jatahi Naka of Dhanusha.

After the Supreme Court of India ordered the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, the construction work of the Ram temple is being taken forward. The foundation stone of the temple will be laid by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

The chief guest of the Ram Mandir Bhumi Pujan program is Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the special guest is Mohan Bhagwat, President of the World Hindu Council. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be present on the occasion.

Only a limited number of people have been invited to participate in the Bhumi Pujan program during the Corona transition. Among the limited number of people is Mahant Ramat Peshwar Das Vaishnav of Janaki temple.

Earlier, Mahanta Das was sent back to Janakpurdham without crossing the Nepali border when he tried to go through the Bhittamod checkpoint of Mahottari on Monday to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Mahant Das said that he was turned away from the border on Monday as there was no vehicle pass and report of PCR test. He said that he was now going to Ayodhya with the vehicle pass and PCR test report.
