The Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has discussed the upcoming strategy as the transmission of Coronavirus (Covid-19) is on the rise across the country.
The CCMC meeting, which was convened on Tuesday after 1,016 people were infected, discussed the upcoming strategy.
Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Mahendra Prasad Guragain, said that no decision has been taken despite discussions on the next strategy as the rate of transition has increased across the country, including the Valley.
The meeting discussed the decisions taken by the government in the past and the effectiveness of those decisions, he said. He said that despite the increasing rate of transition, there will be different views on what the next strategy will be, and a meeting will be held again on Wednesday to discuss further.
He said that the government has given the right to partially or completely ban the district chiefs after analyzing the state of the transition.
Stating that a complete or partial ban has been issued in 41 districts of the country so far, he said that there was no discussion in the CCMC meeting on what to do in the Valley.
He said that the decision on whether to issue a restraining order would be taken by the Chief District Officer after analyzing the situation in the area.
