56% of infected recovered - Infection could still spread-Ministry of Health

Of those infected with the corona, 56.5 percent have recovered.

In the last 24 hours, 569 people have recovered and the number of Corona winners has reached 20,073, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

A total of 1,111 people, including 334 women and 777 men, a total of 12629 tested positive on Thursday. At the same time, the number of confirmed corona infections in Nepal has reached 35,529.

The highest number of 270 people was added in Kathmandu on Thursday. In Kathmandu, 270 people have been confirmed as corona infected, 66 in Lalitpur and 41 in Bhaktapur. This number added in one day is the highest.

A total of 147 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and 17 in ventilators. So far, of the PCR tests of 647,881 people have tested positive for 35,529 people. At present, 6,210 people are in home isolation. According to the Ministry of Health, 9,488 people are in quarantine.

The number of districts with more than 500 infected has increased. The number of infected people is more than 500 in eight districts including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Dhanusha, Parsa, Bara, Mahottari, Rautahat and Sarlahi. In Mustang and Humla alone, the number of infected people is zero.

Infection will increase: Ministry of Health

The government estimates that coronavirus infections will increase in a few days. Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that the infection rate would increase in a few days as it was increasing day by day.

He urged the people to be vigilant as they face more challenges as the transition increases. He said that the infection is increasing in the places where there are health workers, security personnel, staff and densely populated areas.

He requested to stay in isolation after confirming the infection and those who do not have symptoms should stay in isolation at home as much as possible.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam urged everyone to change their lifestyle as the infection would increase if not.

He said that it was important for all to unite in the prevention and control of the infection from their respective places by thinking positively.

According to him, vaccination and adherence to public health standards are the main measures to prevent Covid-19. He said the government was studying research efforts around the world to control and prevent the infection.
