Four employees of the Biratnagar Customs Office have been confirmed infected with the corona virus on Monday. Corona infection has been confirmed in two officers and two employees.
According to Shiva Prasad Bhandari, chief of the Biratnagar customs office, the people infected on Monday are one computer officer, one statistic officer and two deputy subbas working in the same branch. Infected employees are living in a separate place from the customs.
He said that high vigilance has been adopted in the office after the swabs of 20 employees were tested and four of them tested positive.
He said that the service was provided by keeping limited staff in the office. "Customs work cannot be stopped," he said. "We are providing services with limited staff. We have asked the customs agents to be vigilant."
He said that the swabs of those who came in contact with the infected will be collected on Tuesday.
