Suggestion not to get involved in the game of change of government

Central members of the main opposition Nepali Congress have suggested the party leadership not to get involved in the game change of government.

At a meeting of the NC Central Working Committee held at the party's Sanepa office on Monday, a majority of the party members argued that the issue of whether to change the government or not is an internal matter of the CPN (Maoist).

Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma informed that the agenda of the party's general convention and the latest political developments were discussed in the meeting.

Stating that the issue of change of government was an internal matter of the CPN (Maoist), spokesperson said that the CPN (Maoist) would not take part in the house fight.

Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash informed that some CPN (Maoist) leaders have been coming to meet party president Sher Bahadur Deuba on a regular basis recently.

Spokesperson said that only necessary suggestions would be given to the government sitting in the opposition and that the Congress had no interest in changing the government.

Spokesperson Sharma informed that the meeting is discussing to change the party's schedule so that the party's general convention will be held on March 20. Similarly, leader Bhishma Raj Andangbe presented the report of the Disciplinary Commission at Monday's meeting.

Last April, the Congress had formed a Central Disciplinary Committee headed by Central Member Andamwe.
