Reach the village and form an organization

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the Nepal Students' Union should reach out to the village schools and form an organization.

At a blood donation program organized by the Central Committee of the Nepali Union on Friday on the occasion of the 96th birth anniversary of Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Deuba stressed on the need to build the organization by reaching out to the districts and villages.

Deuba said that the leaders should go to the districts, villages, campuses and schools and start building the organization instead of staying in Kathmandu.

Sher Bahadur Deuba said that the tendency of the leaders to go from house to house was increasing in the Nepali Union rather than building an organization. He also stressed on the need to strengthen the organization.

Rajiv Dhungana, president of the Nepali Union, accused the government of failing to provide relief to the students who were in trouble due to COVID-19 and causing grief to the people by increasing the price of petroleum products during the lockdown.

General Secretary of the Nepali Union, Deepak Bhattarai, said that the Nepali Union, which was established for the benefit of students, would expand its organization by reaching out to the villages. More than 70 students donated blood in the program.
