The duo have agreed not to include any other leaders in further meetings, according to sources. If necessary, they have agreed to include other senior members from the secretariat in their meeting.
The meeting held in the Primeminister’s residence was centered on finding the solutions to the recent disputes within the party. The debate had become heated after voices were raised for the Primeminister to resign from within the party.
Senior leaders from the Nepal Communist Party, second Chairman Prachanda, Senior leaders Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhalanath Khanal and some others have been actively seeking PM Oli’s resignation. On the other hand, PM Oli has been trying to defend his position by strengthening support.
