The post-corona monitoring committee formed under the coordination of Congress joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat has discussed with the private businessmen about the lockdown after the corona pandemic and the current situation.
The discussion held in Kathmandu on Thursday was attended by representatives of Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.
He was of the view that the state should help the entrepreneurs by formulating a loose policy in the current situation. Mahat, co-general secretary of the Nepali Congress, said that no program had been brought in the budget to uplift the private business after the corona.
Mahat also opined that economic, social and tourism-oriented programs should be brought to move the country forward. Similarly, the issue of rising unemployment and smooth operation of closed industries was also discussed.
